While his methods are completely original and like nothing I’ve ever seen before in a youth worker, I can not stress enough how amazing Rick is. He knows exactly how to connect with young people. How to relate to them. How to riff with them. His incredibly effective way of going about his youth work has been one of the best things of my recent years. I could not recommend him more.

I’ve known Rick for a few years now and to be able to see how far he has built MANA Youth Project has just been amazing! Rick is such a caring man with so much to offer, he has helped me deal with certain situations in life and to be able to overcome obstacles that life throws at me in such a positive way! MANA Youth Project. I have admired Rick and looked up-to him and everything he stands for. We engaged MANA Youth Project for our son who was having difficulties at school and privately. Results from the 8 week program saw him come back to the caring and loving boy we know him to be as well, turn around his performance academically back to its full potential and bring back happiness into his own life. We could not recommend more highly the MANA Pathfinders Program, as it takes on an alternate view with the primary focus to engage directly with the childs interests to bring them to their own understanding and recognition about what is happening in their lives. As a single mother of an 18 year old man I often times feel limited at my reach. He has a disability & has developed a passion for speaking up for others with disabilities & those who have been bullied as he was. I reached out to Rick and he didn’t blink an eye at grabbing coffee and having a chat with my son. He was able to connect with him (man to man) and underpin the work he is doing. He has helped him clarify his vision & given him the confidence to forge on.

I have 16 year old twin teenagers of the opposite sex and faced with a challenging time, the teenage blues. Like any parent who wants the best for her children I looked into Ricks program so that my kids could Be best geared up for the years ahead, and I wasn’t disappointed, they enjoyed each session, found Rick to be an amazing guy to connect with and I’m glad they just had someone else to guide them, talk too and put them on the correct path. If anyone is considering connecting with Rick for their children he is genuinely caring and invested which is definitely hard to find.

I honestly don’t know how I can even begin to explain how much gratitude I have for Rick. I have a 19 year old son with ASD (Autism) who was completely lost and drowning in this world designed by Neurotypical people. After a very short period of time starting Rick’s program, I was seeing positive changes in not only his well-being but also his motivation. My son over the years had worked with so many different therapists and even went down the road of medication but since being nurtured, heard and validated by someone other than his immediate family, his self worth and confidence has taken leaps ahead. He is no longer taking medication and stepping in the right direction to finding himself and take on the world again. Thank you just doesn’t cut it, you have truly changed someone’s life for the better. You have taken him from the darkness back into the light and given him confidence to navigate his future. I’m so impressed that my son will continue on with other offered programs and I have now taken steps for Rick to also Mentor our other 2 younger sons with ASD. Eternally Grateful
