A LITTLE BIT OF INFO ABOUT MENTOR BIANCA

Bianca is a big advocate for lived experience, and brings her own experiences of trauma, anxiety, depression & being a carer to her role as a mentor.

Because of her own experiences, she brings a nurturing role to her work & celebrates the fact that we are all experts in our own experience.
Bianca values & invites different perspectives and voices, knowing that one person doesn’t hold all the answers, and that we can learn from & support each other through safe story sharing of our experiences, and she understands the importance of the connection between our emotions, thoughts & physical body.

 

She has been teaching and supporting others with various grounding and self-regulating tools through the lens of mindfulness and has practiced and trained in mindfulness in her personal and professional life for over 10 years.

In her work she has supported people individually and in group settings, and puts an emphasis on creating a safe space to help foster trust & connection with the people she is working with.

Her work has led her to work with Primary & Secondary aged students, in addition to Teachers and Community members, and she is passionate about supporting young people.

Bianca is currently studying in Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness & a Diploma in Counselling to strengthen her skills to support others.
