A LITTLE BIT OF INFO ABOUT MENTOR TERRI

Terri is an Art Therapist who completed her master’s in art therapy at La Trobe University, and is registered with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA)

She has always admired the way the arts could light her up and provide her with an alternate way to express herself through symbolism, metaphor, line, shape and colour.

Terri has had experience at the Ronald McDonald House and the Royal Children’s Hospital, working with unwell children and their families.

She has also worked individually and ran inpatient and outpatient groups at Pine Lodge Clinic (an Adult Mental Health Hospital) with patients who were working through addictions, and mental health challenges such as:

  • PTSD
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • BPD
  • Schizophrenia
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • and Eating Disorders.

More recently she has been providing services through her own private practice to both adults and children. And recently completed our very own Mentor Training here at MANA Youth Project.

Terri specialises in guiding her clients through using the creative process to express and release anything that may be needing attention. By using the creative process in this way, she nurtures her clients’ souls, while also providing them with the opportunity to process and work through any difficulties and challenges they may be facing.
