A Mentor Focus outlines the core areas a Mentor chooses to emphasise and provide during mentorship. It describes what the Mentor brings to the table—their strengths, interests, and the types of opportunities, guidance, and support they offer.
Each Mentor has their own style, shaped by their experiences, values, and passions. A Mentor Focus helps mentees understand:
🧠 What types of activities or challenges they might engage in.🎯 What areas of life or growth the Mentor specializes in.
🤝 How the Mentor will support and challenge them.
💡 What themes and lessons will emerge through the mentoring journey.
